Product, e-commerce & commercial

Product and e-commerce photographers in Istanbul

Shortlist photographers and studios by the product work they publish, then define formats, volume, styling, production and usage before requesting proposals.

Commercial product photography by Türkiye FotoShoot
Short answer

Choose an Istanbul product photographer by matching the portfolio to the required output: consistent e-commerce images, styled campaign photographs, model-led work, short video or industrial coverage. Send a product and shot list, references, platform specifications, delivery formats and intended usage before asking for a quote.

Start with the asset list

A white-background catalogue, a styled campaign and an industrial assignment require different crews, sets and post-production. Define what must be delivered before comparing studios or day rates.

  • Products, variants, colours and the number of views required for each item.
  • Background, scale, shadow, colour-reference and consistency requirements.
  • Marketplace, website, print and social-media dimensions or crop ratios.
  • Still photographs, short product video, model-led work or industrial coverage.
  • File naming, cut-outs, retouching level, approval stages and delivery deadline.

Prepare the products and production responsibilities

State where the products are, when they will arrive and who checks them against the shot list. Agree how damaged samples, assembly, cleaning, duplicates, colour references, storage and return transport will be handled.

For styled or model-led work, assign responsibility for the concept, props, set, casting, wardrobe, grooming and location. A clear responsibility list makes proposals easier to compare and reduces changes on the shoot day.

Separate capture, post-production and usage

Ask the proposal to distinguish photography or filming, studio and equipment, production, talent, styling, retouching, video editing, delivery and any transport. Confirm what happens when the product count or requested views change.

Commercial usage, raw files, project files and long-term archiving are not automatic. Put the channels, territory, duration, third-party use, file formats and archive period in the written agreement.

Relevant listed providers

These profiles cover different parts of the brief: food and beverage production, broader commercial work, and product or e-commerce photography and video. Inclusion does not mean every provider covers every product category; compare current examples and confirm the exact scope in writing.

Direct booking is the main route.

Questions to settle before booking

What should a product-photography brief include?

Include a product or SKU list, variants, required views, references, background and colour requirements, output sizes, platforms, deadline and intended usage. Add responsibilities for shipping, preparation, props, styling, casting and approvals where relevant.

Can one Istanbul team produce both product photographs and video?

Some profiles in this directory publish both photography and video work. Confirm who will operate each camera, whether the lighting and set serve both formats, which edits are included and whether stills and motion can be captured within the same schedule.

How should products be sent to an Istanbul studio?

Agree the delivery address, receiving contact, inventory check, insurance responsibility, storage period and return method before shipping. For fragile, valuable or perishable items, document handling and replacement arrangements in writing.

Do product-photography quotes include commercial usage and raw files?

Not necessarily. Specify where the finished work will appear, for how long and in which territories. Ask separately about raw files, project files, unused frames, retouching layers and archive access.
